Westchester's basic borders are I290 (Eisenhower Expressway) on the North, 31st Street on the south, Wolf Road on the west and 25th Street on the east. With I290 bordering on the north, it's just a 15 minute ride to down town Chicago, with no traffic.

One of the great things that appeal to the residents of Westchester is the amount of stores they have in the Village. Roosevelt Rd., on the north end is loaded with small business owners, like auto motive, video stores, small strip malls with sandwich shops. Walgreens is located at Roosevelt and LaGrange Rd. All up and down LaGrange Road you have various restaurants and businesses. Westchester is also gifted with large Jewel Store on LaGrange Road and Cermak (22nd Street) and a large Dominicks, within the huge strip mall on 31st and Wolf Road. One of my recommendations to visit there is Paul's Pizza and Hot Dogs. |
